Arrive at Borobudur Temple in the late afternoon and explore the ancient site as the daylight begins to soften. • The ticket is valid only on the selected visit date.


Tickets are non-refundable.


The ticket is valid for a single entry.


A single price applies for both international and domestic visitors.


Children aged 3 years and above are required to purchase a ticket.


Ticket purchase must include a valid form of identification (ID card, Passport, or KITAS).


Tickets must be purchased no later than 2 days before the visit date, up to 24:00 WIB.


Foreign visitors holding a Limited Stay Permit Card (KITAS) may purchase the domestic visitor ticket and will receive domestic visitor services (including a local guide).


Guides are provided collectively for visitors and are not assigned exclusively to any specific group.


Private guides or tour leaders brought by visitors are subject to the same ticket price as regular visitors.


DSLR cameras with standard/kit lenses are permitted. However, the use of professional cameras with telephoto lenses or tripods is not allowed unless official permission is obtained through the relevant authorities.


Visitors are allowed to bring personal drinking water but are not permitted to bring food into the Borobudur Temple area.


It is recommended that visitors store their personal belongings in their respective vehicles.


Visitors are not allowed to separate from the group until the Sunset Tour activity is completed.


One (1) guide will accompany every 15 visitors, or as adjusted to on-site conditions.


Ticket prices are subject to change without prior notice according to management policy.


Visitors must maintain cleanliness and adhere to the following rules: do not scribble or vandalize, smoke, move stones, sit on stupas or balustrades, bring food, climb structures, or bring weapons, musical instruments, drones, or pets. All regulations within the area must be followed.


Visitors are required to dress modestly and are recommended to wear clothing in white tones.
