What To Expect
Lake Toya, one of the three major scenic spots in Hokkaido, formed an excellent hot spring area due to the frequent eruptions of volcanoes. It opened as a hot spring area in Taisho 6 (1917). Toyako Onsen is a weak salt hot spring that refreshes the skin, and is also effective for gastrointestinal diseases and chronic muscle rheumatism. Bathing here, you can also fully enjoy the view of Mt. Yotei, known as "Ezo Fuji", nature such as volcanoes, and experience facilities. 3 million tourists visit each year.
