Umi Jigoku is one of the famous geothermal attractions in Oita Prefecture, Japan, and part of the "Beppu Hell Tour." As a representative natural wonder, it's renowned for its spectacular blue hot springs, drawing numerous visitors to explore. Despite its "hell" namesake, the breathtaking view leaves a lasting impression. The hot spring water at Umi Jigoku reaches temperatures as high as 98°C, displaying a dreamlike blue hue reminiscent of a mysterious ocean. Visitors can walk along specially designed pathways to observe this natural marvel up close and feel the earth's inner heat. Beyond the hot springs, the attraction features a tropical botanical garden with diverse plants, offering a unique ecological experience.
