The North Building of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center is the Mt. Fuji Consulting Service Center. Provides tourist-related information on attractions such as Mount Fuji and the surrounding areas of the Fuji Five Lakes. From the observation deck on the second floor, you can see the majestic and beautiful Mount Fuji, and it is a very famous viewing spot. The exhibition area on the 1st floor of the North Hall is divided into belief exhibition area, nature exhibition area and art exhibition area. The Faith Pavilion introduces Mt. Fuji and its surrounding World Heritage assets, Mt. Fuji, which has been worshipped since ancient times. The nature exhibition area introduces the natural history and features of Mt. Fuji and its surroundings in an easy-to-understand manner. The art exhibition area introduces various creations based on Mount Fuji. The Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center South Building was newly opened in June 2016, allowing guests to experience first-hand the connection between people and nature on Mt. Fuji, and to share and co-create it. Fuji 360 is a huge work that allows you to enjoy a 360-degree view of Mt. Fuji. The lighting effects show the different scenery of Mt. Fuji that changes with the time of day and the seasons. On the 2nd floor of the South Building, the Gochudo Corridor is a corridor designed with reference to the "Gochudo", the road of belief that still exists on the mountainside of Mount Fuji. Surrounding the unique natural environment and beliefs of Mount Fuji, the connection between Mount Fuji and people is shown with sound and light effects.
